About the research
"What’s powering the powerhouse" was created to provide a snapshot into the North’s early-stage funding landscape in 2022.
The Praetura team have used a mix of both primary and secondary market research methods to better understand the stories and experiences of the sector’s stakeholders. This includes a detailed survey distributed through investment networks and one-to-one interviews with over 300 founders and stakeholders from the North of England and the UK.
The purpose of this research is to offer a bird eye view of the investment landscape, understand what founders need to build better businesses and give expert advice from those who’ve been there before.
